Blackstone Edge

March 2009

Hello everyone!

Well what can we say - another great night at The Red Shed on 21st February and a fantastic turnout again, thanks to everyone who came. Thanks also to Three Sheets t'Wind who opened the show with a great performance showcasing their new CD 'Tales from the West Riding'. These nights we've been hosting recently at The Red Shed are brilliant and hopefully with your support we'll be able to continue.

The next show down at the Red Shed is on Saturday 4th April and we're very pleased to announce that we will have as special guests Berkana. This excellent band comprise of singer-songwrtiters Neil Benton and Terry Armitage and vocalist Lou Finch who love to perform traditional, contemporary and self-penned folk material on a variety of instruments. Get involved!

It'd be great if you could help us by spreading the word!

We'd like to build on events such as the nights at The Red Shed and feature more local talent such as we've seen over the last couple of months. In addition to telling other people, maybe you would like to put posters up or hand flyers around at other gigs - circulate on company intranets or noticeboards, for a great night out for your colleagues at work? email us if you'd like to get involved!

Make sure you keep your details up to date on the mailing list by emailing list@blackstoneedge.net if they change.

Thanks everyone for you continued support and please help us by passing this newsletter on and telling your friends about shows.

Hope to see you soon
